The SO31 team provide for a wide range of specialist services covering an extensive number of bespoke projects. What’s more, given that each member of the team is both an expert sail maker as well as an experienced sailor, they also know of the rigours that their custom items must stand up to.
Defining your custom canvas or bespoke project
Our SO31 are a team of diligent professionals, made up from sail makers who have plenty of first-hand experience of sailing. When you get in touch they’ll probably want to gather a few essential bits of information to allow them to get your job moving and deliver a high quality finish Some of the things we may ask:
- What is your budget?
- Details of the project?
- Is your custom project for cruising or racing?
- What is the most important element of the project?
- Is weight of material more important than durability?
- Is the project for something that favours form over function or vice versa?
Of course not each and every one of these questions will apply to all projects, and there may be further information that our team need in order to quote and plan ahead for your project.
